Investment Strategy

Levant Capital Management LLC is a Commodity Trading Advisor which targets absolute investment returns. We employ a market directional investment strategy with a discretionary technical trading style. The firm’s trades are long or short positions in macro markets.

Levant specializes in managed futures, an investment which historically has not been correlated to traditional markets, such as stocks or bonds. Levant operates its business via managed account platforms at the world’s largest brokerage firms. The firm utilizes its proprietary modelling and research methodologies to separate real market action from the everyday market noise. The convergence of technology and globalization, has created an economic boom driven by BRICs countries, Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Commodity futures trading volumes have dramatically risen and so has the number of marketplace participants.

The markets have never been more exciting and challenging than today. The firm’s research department identifies viable risk-adjusted opportunities and in the implementation phase of these opportunities, Levant uses both position sizing and money management policies.
