About Us

At Levant Capital Management LLC, our business is research and investment management for institutional investors, a group we think is underserved in today’s investment climate. We provide wholly independent analysis and management services with the objective of absolute returns on capital. We create investment strategies for institutional investors worldwide in an environment of complete transparency and full liquidity.

Levant Capital Management LLC is a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) which uses directional investment strategies. We employ a discretional technical trading style. The firm administers and executes its business via managed account platforms at the world’s top brokerage firms.

The firm was founded by Peter Levant, who began his career with some of the world’s largest investment firms. He started in administration and trade execution and later moved into research, specializing in technical analysis. Mr. Levant managed a commodity futures trading desk and later founded his own independent research firm, Northern Advisors, which served institutional investors before founding Levant Capital Management in 2007.
